"Yes, You Stinker!"

So Bev thought she was surprising Keola for his birthday last weekend. She booked a flight and made a few phone calls and was on her way! She had it all planned... she had a friend deliver birthday balloons to his door... then a few minutes later another friend delivered flowers to his door.... then a few minutes later another friend delivered a cake to his door.... and THEN... her plan was to knock on his door and surprise him with her visit. BUT... when she opened his door she found his apartment completely lit by candle light... bouquets of flowers everywhere... and a trail of rose petals with Keola at the end.... down on one knee.... with the most beautiful ring she had ever seen! Take a stab at who actually got the surprise?!

It was the most beautiful, romantic, and sweet moment. Never in a million dreams would Bev have imagined a proposal more perfect. Keola really thought of EVERY detail!

We are both SO happy and so excited to start our eternal family. We're getting married August 1, 2008 in the Laie, HI temple and then it's off to Sweet Home Alabama to begin our greatest adventure yet!

The Best Week Ever!

We just had the wonderful opportunity to spend some time together and this time Logan joined us in Alabama! The three of us squeezed so much fun stuff into our 9 days together! If you ask Logan what his favorite things about his first trip to Alabama were, today he would tell you that he had fun learning how to fish, he loved sleeping in the tent that Keola had set up for him, and he loved seeing the rocket ships at the Stennis Space Center. If you ask him tomorrow he may change his mind again :) Keola and Bev enjoyed just being all together, hanging out and cooking at home, and the fun visits with friends. The entire week was fabulous and the three of us feel so blessed to have been able to have some time to spend together. We’re looking forward to our upcoming Southern California vacation next month and hope to get to see some of you down there!
